End of Year 86 BRZ Cruise! Sunday 3rd December 2023 It's time for one of the big ones! Another year has come to a close and we are excited to announce the End of Year cruise for all club members. Join us again for one of our biggest social events / cruises of the year. We are starting at Queensland Raceway after Happy Laps for the pre-cruise meet (Look for the QLD86BRZ Flag) then making our way down to E M Tilley park for the mid-way stop, and finally to Killarney Hotel. A Google map route is available here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/EacLniGiHPbDa5Xu5 Things to note on the route The route has been chosen to be a fun mix of technical and more open roads, there are still a few things that should be noted for your safety and enjoyment: 1. FILL UP COMPLETELY BEFORE YOU HEAD OFF! This is a long route that passes few (if any) sevros that sell 98 or E85. There are a few servos within 10 minutes of the starting location, so please use them! At the end of the route, Warwick is a 20 min drive and has both 98 and E85 for sale.  IF YOU DON'T FULLY FILL UP, YOU MAY NOT MAKE IT! 2. An early section of the route goes through unfenced roads which may have cattle crossing them (signified by the road grids). Please take due care and attention while going through these areas. 3. Some of the roads during the middle section of the route narrow down to one lane at a time, so please drive accordingly. 4. There is a speed camera right at the border crossing entering NSW. This is located on the map as James Guthrie Westray. Be prepared. 5. Towards the end of the route, corners may not have a posted speed sign. Please be cautious as the sharpness of these turns can be unexpected. 6. Current weather predictions are looking good, however there still might be rain during the cruise. Please drive to the conditions and be safe! 7. Parking at Killarney Hotel may be tight. Please listen to instructions so we can fit as many as we can, or park on the street nearby. General Notes for the day  This is a CRUISE not a Rally, there are no prizes for getting to the venue first. All attendees should adhere to all road rules and obey all signs, speed limits and drive to the conditions. Please be respectful when leaving our starting and end points, your behaviour reflects on us as a Club. Some of the roads on our cruise are winding and fun to drive, but use common sense and stay safe. Take it easy and keep a safe following distance. Maintaining a good following distance also allows for more flowing traffic through the winding sections of road. When turning at an intersection, wait until the person behind you can see you and where you're going. This helps prevent people from getting lost!   It's looking like a great day out, so we'll see you there!!!
