End of Year 86 BRZ Cruise!

The year is coming to a close again, so lets celebrate it with a cruise! Join us for one of our biggest social events of the year and a great way to meet other club members. This year, the cruise will be heading off from Woodford and going along the scenic and twisting mountain roads of the Sunshine Coast. Our midway stopping point will be at Kenilworth for us to regroup and have a stretch before heading off to the lunch destination near the coast.

Things to note on the route

The route has been chosen to be a fun mix of mountain roads that should prove to be an exciting drive. There are a few things that should be noted for your safety and enjoyment:

1. E85 USERS: BE PREPARED! This is an approximately 160km route and we dont you to miss out on it. YOu know your cars best, so plan to fill up before or make provisions if you need to. It's better to play it safe than end up stuck out there!

2. While we aim to have space for everyone at out starting and stopping locations, these are still public car parks which may become full. If you cannot find a space in the designated area, please just find one close by.

3. Please have a copy of the route with you. We want you all to enjoy the cruise and dont want anyone to end up getting lost on the way. Don't just rely on the car in front of you, as they may be just as lost as you!

4. Speed cameras and police are known to patrol these roads, please keep that in mind.

5. South east Queesland weather can change without much warning. Please drive to the conditions and be safe!

General Notes for the day 

This is a CRUISE not a Rally, there are no prizes for getting to the venue first. All attendees should adhere to all road rules and obey all signs, speed limits and drive to the conditions. Please be respectful when leaving our starting and end points, your behaviour reflects on us as a Club.

Some of the roads on our cruise are winding and fun to drive, but use common sense and stay safe. Don't drive harder than you or the conditions can handle. Once again, it's a cruise, not a track day! Take it easy and keep a safe following distance. Maintaining a good following distance also allows for more flowing traffic through the winding sections of road. When turning at an intersection, wait until the person behind you can see you and where you're going. This helps prevent people from getting lost!
