Queensland Raceway Weekend Sprint - 1st Oct 2022

Sat, 1 Oct 2022
10:00 - 17:00

The next Club Sprints are on Saturday 1 October. Due to the costs of purchasing a private grid and expected number of club participants, unlike previous Club Sprints, we will not be running a private grid for this event. As such, QR will allocate us to a general public grid/s and payment will be via the Queensland Raceways website. Being a general public grid it is not guaranteed you will be placed in the grid you have selected, but QR have recommended that we select ‘Group 3’ as the Category (grid) when signing up.

Below is some information on how sprints works and the requirements, if you are keen to join us, please:

  1. Register with the club via this page and
  2. Register with QR and pay via the Queensland Raceways website (navigate to 1 Oct 2022 and select 'Weekend Sprints & Super Sprint #10').

For those interested in purchasing any extras (such as entering the morning General Practice session), please select these on the Queensland Raceways sign up page.

**Note: For first timers who have never raced with us you’ll need to setup account and purchase a New Licence from https://aasa.com.au/licences/general-speed-event-licence/ ($99 for the year)**

**If you hold another sanctioning body licence (Like RACERS), AASA will honour your licence until it’s expiry date if renewed prior to Feb 2022, or until the 31st December (whichever comes first).

**Timer: Hire for $30 with a CC hold form filled out (also please don’t forget to return these on the day as timers cost $700 if you accidently take it home.**

If you need any assistance or advice, or have any questions about being in a general public grid, please contact us at https://www.facebook.com/qld86brz/ or via email motorsport@qld86brz.com.

Hope to see you out there.

- Nathan (Motorsport Coordinator)
